A little of Tela in Knoxville
Tela sits on the Caribbean coast of Honduras, where the food leans on coconut, plantain, fresh seafood, and the sea breezes that give us our name. That is the cooking we make here.
Baleadas are the everyday Honduran staple, a warm flour tortilla folded over beans, crema, and cheese. Tajadas con pollo and pollo asado are weekend favorites, and our sopa de caracol carries the flavor of the coast in a coconut broth. Everything is cooked to order from the window.

We hold a permanent spot at Southside Garage, 3800 Western Ave, Knoxville, TN 37921. Same place every day we are open, no need to track the truck.
What days and hours are you open?
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00a to 9:00p. We are closed Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you are coming for something specific, a quick call ahead never hurts.
Do you cater events?
Yes. We cater on-site and off for parties, offices, quinceañeras, and more. Use the catering request form below or call us, and tell us your date and headcount.
